Job Title: Copywriter wanted for a music magazine

Description: Elmore Magazine is a nationally distributed music magazine based in NYC. Our mission is Saving American Music and we focus on music with a history: roots, blues, jazz, soul, folk, funk, country and rock 'n' roll (www.elmoremagazine.com). We're looking for a detail-oriented person to proof-read, copy edit and fact check the reviews submitted regularly by our freelance writers. You will also have the opportunity to write reviews and/or larger stories for the publication. You must be organized, have the ability to multi-task and conduct extensive online research. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, knowledge of grammar rules and high quality editing skills are required. An interest in our focal musical genres and general knowledge about the music industry is a plus.
