Job Title: Web editor/producer

Description: BostonHerald.com is seeking an online editor for its three-person overnight team. The position is five nights a week and includes shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Overnight online editors posts all articles and photos appearing in the print edition to the website. In addition to posting duties, overnight editors are responsible for creating polls, building the homepage, working with reader comments, creating photo galleries and maintaining a high-quality and timely news website.

The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor's degree in journalism or communications
Online and/or newsroom experience
Solid news judgment
Ability to work under pressure
Basic knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Word and AP style
The ability to manage time and work without direct supervision.
