Name: Christian Writers Guild Writing Contest

Description: A contest for unpublished authors. Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild announces Operations First Novel 2009. Enter our Operation First Novel Contest and you could win $20,000. Tyndale House will publish the winner of our contest.  Any current Christian Writers Guild student or member is welcome to enter.

While there is no fee for entering the contest, each entrant must be a current member or student in good standing of the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild. Submitted books must not have been previously published.

American Christian Fiction Writers Contest

 Description: This is the ACFW () contest for unpublished Christian writers. Membership in the ACFW is required for those who enter the contest. The contest has several different genre categories to choose from. The writer submits 15 pages of their novel for the judges (professional agents and editors and authors) to read and critique. Finalists will be chosen for each category. The Category winners will have the opportunity to meet with an editor or agent at the ACFW National Conference.
